NEXT STEPS REPORT

The mentor will read your full (or partial*) manuscript and synopsis and prepare a short report (approx three pages) highlighting the three – five major areas that you need to work on over the next stage of edits. This might include concept, approach, plot, narrative structure, character, voice, theme, dramatic tension, emotional connection, etc.

You may book a sixty-minute one2one with the mentor to discuss the report and your next steps. The one2one can be face-to-face, at a location and time agreed with the mentor, or via Skype.

*Our mentors love to work with authors as they generate ideas and write their first draft. We can work with you so long as you have 5,000 words and a rough idea of where you would like your story to go.
